Thank you for visiting my blog! This is where I post all things creative in my life. Most of my posts are finished sewing projects or works in progress, tutorials, recipes and pictures of my two adorable little Yorkies, Sammy & Loki. In fact, they like to sneak into most of my pictures even if they are not the intended subject!
My dogs are my inspiration. I’m allergic to most things with fur, but Yorkies are special. I’m thankful that I’m able to have them share my life, and they make me laugh every day and remind me how lucky I am to have them. Loki is my first dog. He is smart but needy, and he is my contant companion. He looks to me for guidance and will learn anything I ask him to. He doesn’t like to wear clothes, but he will happily model anything for a cookie. Sammy is happy, goofy, and sweet, but she also has an opinion about everything. We love her so much and so does everyone who meets her. I started making harnesses and sling carriers for Sam, and that turned into all of this!
I’m kind of a techie, which translates well into the sewing world. I like the technical side of sewing – accurate seams, math (yes, math!), figuring out construction, taking a gazillion pictures and creating PDF patterns and tutorials. My blog is WordPress, which is fun to learn and easy to use. I love how connected we all are. Without the online crafting community I think a lot of us would go crazy, especially when we feel like we are the only wacky person we know in-real-life who would rather be home with their dogs and sewing machine than anywhere else.
