New bonus features for The Essential Wristlet!

October 22, 2012
By Erin Erickson

So, pretty much everyone asked for the boxed corners and extra zipper instructions…

Here they are!

(I know, horrible cover… It took 5 minutes. I’ll fix it later. :)

There is just too much fun stuff to cover everything here. Just go check out the gallery on the pattern page. I went a little nuts with photos because that Kate Spain Terrain one turned out SO CUTE. I also made a fancy brocade one for the play last weekend and it worked out really well and even fit my camera. And I used the blue floral one the rest of the time and I loved having my cash & coins in the outside zip, so I could keep my phone and passport zipped in the big pocket.

Here is how this works: I added the extra pattern pieces and additional instructions to the end of the original pattern file and re-uploaded it to the server. If you’ve already purchased the pattern, just click the link in your email again to download the new file. If you have questions, email me. I can
re-send your receipt email if you’ve already deleted it. That’s what I’m here for!

OK, a few photos. Because <3. Thank you all for pretty much demanding this! I love it.

P.S. There are still samples in the Etsy shop if you don’t want to sew!

Hi Erin, Your patterns are awsome, your photos are prefect, and your sewing is precise and it shows verywell. I have to show you my pattern for a 15” computer case. Maybe you can prefect it.
    Great Job, Anutie Kathy

    Super! Thanks, Erin!
I just bought the pattern over the weekend and my email was still there. The new one downloaded as advertised! Can’t wait to try it – just ordered some hardware and when it arrives I’ll be good to go!

I had already purchased the patterns. I followed your directions for down-loading a second time. It worked just fine. Thank you. Now I just need time to actually read the pattern and make a few wristlets <>.

Yay! Thanks for the bonus, Erin! Instead of “re-uploaded” I read “reloaded” which is basically what this is!!! :D

Hurray for bonus features! Thank you so much for adding even more value to what was a very value-packed pattern. My first wristlet came out really well, and I have plans to make dozens more. My massive zipper collection is now properly justified! :-)

It never would have occurred to me to prepare the zipper by hand-tacking it the way that you did, but it has made all the difference. My zippers now look quite professional.

I have a thing about zippers in side seams. No dented corners! Post links to pics if you have them!

I just downloaded the pattern, love all the pictures. Have you found a good place to purchase the lobster clasp and d-rings?

I end up getting my hardware on Etsy. Vendors’ stock changes but I can always find 10-20 packs of clips. These are the ones I ordered last time: http://www.etsy.com/listing/112072396/free-shipping-20-of-15-inch-with-12-inch
I’m trying to find more 5/8″ ones. I liked those!
