Do you have any questions? Ask!

August 2, 2012

While I make wristlets… and more wristlets…

To be assembled :)

A twitter friend of mine (Cody from Lu & Ed – OH MY GOSH she makes such cute stuff) did a tumblr style “ask” on her blog last week and I thought it was a great idea, so I’m totally borrowing it. :)

Do you all have any general or specific sewing questions? What stumps you? Is there anything you’d like me to answer or point you in the right direction of an answer? Blogging questions? Shipping questions? Twitter and Facebook questions? Anything at all you’d like to ask?

I’ll take pattern and tutorial suggestions too, if there is something you *must* have, but keep in mind I already have quite the list and I don’t work as quickly as any of us would like (as in, still making wristlets…) But, I’m also very interested in what you are thinking about!

You can leave a comment below or contact me using this form. Depending on how many questions I get, I’ll either reply in the comments or make a new blog post. I may or may not answer everything, or I might email you. I have no idea how this will work, but it sure sounded like a fun thing to do!

P.S. There are still samples for sale! :)

I can’t think of any questions right offhand, but I’m subscribing to this comment thread to see what others want to know. I just might learn something I didn’t know I needed to know! :)

No questions but I am hoping those wristlets are similar to those made by Vera Bradley. I have been looking for a pattern like that!

Oh! I have a couple questions….I was googling and I found an older post of yours about your Oliso iron and Mary Ellen’s Best Press…I am wondering how you like your Oliso now and what the best way to use Mary Ellen’s is. I feel like my fabric doesn’t really get that stiff. Maybe I am just expecting something different, or maybe I am not using enough? I try ironing with steam and without steam. Sometimes fabrics turn out better than others, but I can’t quite determine why.

    Thanks!!

I honestly haven’t used it much at all. I tried it when I made the baby quilt I just finished and it was just OK. I don’t think I would use it again. I had to use so much and I’m not sure it really helped the corners line up.
