I interface everything, so I go through a lot of interfacing and I try to only buy it when it’s on sale. My favorite is Pellon SF 101. I also use Pellon 50 sew-in and Pellon 926 sew-in.
These sales happen a few times a year and this is usually when I stock up.
Jo-Ann Fabrics has interfacing 40% off this weekend (August 3-5) and then a 25% off coupon. If you didn’t get a flyer, you can print the coupon here.
At my Jo-Ann, SF 101 is $5.29, so with the discount and coupon it ends up being $2.38 a yard. The nice thing with these sales is that you don’t need to have a coupon for every different cut. I usually can find a 40% or 50% coupon to use, but if I need three different kinds of interfacing that doesn’t work as well. So go, stock up while it’s cheap! Then go buy some nice fabric from your local quilt shop. :D

Apparently the interfacing is 40% off in-store only. :( Closest Joann’s for me is 70 miles. I did get a good supply of SF101 on eBay once… good price, too, although I don’t remember what it was.
That’s annoying. And it’s not really like someone can buy it and send it to you, it’s huge and long and won’t fit in a standard box. I’ve noticed they sometimes have online sales they don’t have in the stores, so that might be the way to go sometime?
Hi there, been reading for a long time! I’m an avid JoAnns shopper too and know how to trick the system. Here in CT we have nice checkout people who will use more than one coupon on each transaction, here’s how. Get the ap for your smart phone and sign up another house member for the print flyer and email address. Now you have more than one coupon with different bar codes. Our checkout people will take more than one coupon as long as there’s different bar codes or say your buying for a friend. I haven’t done this with percent off entire purchase but it works with the percent off one item coupons. If you have an AC Moore they are on to this so they say only one coupon per person per day.
Happy Shopping and enjoy your wait at the cutting counter!
I’m sure we can’t do that here…the girls at mine are pretty on the ball. But that iPhone app is really great for when I forget my paper coupons. I usually just wait a week and there will be a 50% off sale on whatever i need, like needles or ribbon or whatever.
Yes, i’m quite sure there will be a wait. Which is when I have to decide how much saving the extra $.30 a yard is worth. :)
Thanks for posting the link…I went today and bought interfacing, batting, and some other minor supplies to take advantage of the % off the whole purchase! I still have the coupon from my flyer…sure hope I can use that tomorrow!!
