Lately I’ve been having so much fun on Twitter – If you haven’t joined us over there yet, please do! I promise the time we will suck from you will be worth it for the friendships and endless laughter. :)
Anyway, I was chatting with Cindy from Creating at Home about tutorials and PDF patterns and I suggested she make a quilted potholder tutorial. Which was totally selfish because I literally have *one* sad looking potholder in this house and absolutely no excuse for it, since I am completely surrounded by fabric and batting. So this forced me to make one!
It’s a really cute tutorial – go check it out! Very simple. I’ve never done anything hexi before and I’ve never done paper piecing or anything like it. Even the angle on the binding was new to me. I think it turned out great!
I don’t really keep scraps around so I actually had to cut into my Good Fortune for this, but it was so much fun that I already started making a pile of scraps for another one!

I agree, Twitter is a lot of fun! I’ve had a great time chattin with you over there and was so glad you gave me the little nudge I needed to create this pattern! I’m so glad you found it easy and fun to make. :) It looks fantastic!
