Oh boy, cool giveaway. I’d love to go to Hawaii, or go back to Alaska. But our next big trip will definitely be to somewhere in Canada. We were briefly in Vancouver on our trip to Alaska, but would love to see the rest of our neighboring country someday.
I’m a big-city girl so I love quite a few of them. If I had to narrow it down I would choose Kansas City, Missouri (not Kansas, I’m a Missouri girl!) or Washington D.C.
My favourite international city is London, my favourite Canadian city is Nelson. Now what a contrast those two are. lol.

I love my hometown, of course, but I think my favorite place to visit is Cambria, in California. By the beach, but with pine trees, and not very far from wine tasting in Paso Robles!!
It’s so hard to pick a favorite city! Either London, where most of the museums are free, or Pacific Beach, where there’s a perfect little bed and breakfast only a few minutes walk from the water.
I love Portland, OR. But Chicago is pretty awesome too!
Actually, Vancouver is quite the place to be. Like Toronto there is quite a strong art & fine craft movement there. In particular, an area called Granville Island is fabulous. It is filled with little artisan shops, and you won’t leave the area empty handed. I guarantee this… ha ha…
Toronto has the better art dealers however, and is significant in its own right. The place to be there is Yorkville. You’ll love this also, I’m sure.

I just went on vacataion in a tiny town called Protem, MO – right on Bull Shoals Lake, so right now that is my favorite city.

I love Grindelwald in Switzerland. I love being high up in the mountains! I used to live in Madison WI and have heard of Fish Creek. Vancouver BC is beautiful and so is Vancouver WA (have have family there). I love too many cities. I love to travel.
I just bought zippers from them a few days ago and would love to do it again !
It’s funny because I went to Walmart because I needed zippers so I just took 8 (there was no price) thinking it couldn’t be more than a dollar or two/zipper… after all, it’s just a zipper (8″). When I arrived at the cash, I found out they were in fact $3.50 ! It’s crazy that Zipit have 25 of them for $14 (shipping included) !!! Anyway, what I want to say is that I’ll probably never buy zippers anywhere else in the future ! Thanks for the chance !

I’m really not sure what city I’d like to visit. Paris has a certain romance to it but London would be neat and yet…I’m rather a small town girl…so Susan Branch talked about Charleston in England and it looks like my kind of place. Charleston it is.
Italy– specifically Florence, Senia, Urbino, Arrezzo, Assisi, Perguia….. You get the idea!
Favorite city? I’m not actually big on cities, but I live in Ann Arbor, and I’d stay here for the rest of my life if I could. It’s the perfect little college town, with great food, a cute downtown, and one of the best comic book/gaming stores in the nation. The only downside is the lack of fabric stores. :)

I’m lucky to live Sheffield, UK, my favorite city. It’s hilly and full of trees but nonetheless a complete metropolis (among the biggest in the UK). It’s not great for tourists but you can see the Peaks National Park from every hill and it has everything you need.
I was in San Francisco a few years ago and loved it (I live in Nova Scotia, which is pretty small) but I felt completely safe walking around by myself in such a big place far away from home. I’d love to go back!
San Diego is awesome-I lived there when I was little. And in the Midwest, I really like St. Louis. Tons of fun free stuff to do (plus plenty of not-free stuff too, lol)

I love Pontevedra, Spain. It’s also more of a town than a city, at least in the feel of the place. There are lush green mountains and sunny beaches. Modern night life and cool castles/churches. The air in the summer is perfumed with eucalyptus and citrus blossoms. And I have family there which makes it all even better.
My favorite town is St. Louis, Mo because there is a lot of free things to do.
Hmmmm….I’m from Philly so I should say that :) But I think if I ever went there I’d fall madly in love with London.
I don’t really have a favorite city really. I just love traveling anywhere as long as my husband and I can get away. I do love going to Missouri as it brings back childhood memories. Branson, MO is a fun place to go and also anywhere in Door County is so fun because of all the little shops and all those small towns being so close together like they are so you can go to so many places in a short time period ………well, unless you take into account all the time spent shopping. haha..

My favorite town is Athens, WI. I lived there for a couple years and it is a quaint little town. We used to shop at a little grocery store that had been in the same spot since the 1920′s! It has a tin ceiling and would floors. There was also a large Amish and Mennonite population there so we could buy eggs, flowers and such things from them!
I’ve always wanted to visit Portland, OR. Now that I have a friend living there, maybe next year I’ll get to do just that! :D

Moscow is amazing. I also love Warsaw as it’s special to me, I used to live there. New York City is also a massive favourite of mine. Beijing is also pretty cool. I do not recommend Perm in Siberia.

For some reason it’s hard for me to pick somewhere. I hate to fly, so I could name off international locations relating to my ancestry I would go to if there was teleportation.
I just love Leavenworth, WA. It’s a little bavarian themed town that offers great hiking and camping.
My favorite place to visit is Carmel, California.
I would love to visit Williamsburg I believe it is Virginia. Very old town with lots of history and quite a bit of quilt history. It is on my husband’s retirement travel list.
Can it be an island with a couple of cities on it? Because my favorite is Martha’s Vineyard.
I love going to Ballson Lake in New York — there are cute little general stores and an apple orchard nearby! :)
My favorite city to vacation is Lewes Delaware. Kind of sleepy and backwoods, with cute quaint shops, it isn’t for anyone looking for nightlife, museums or bar hopping. But for peace and quiet it is perfect.

i’d love to visit edinburgh. my grandmother was born there, ended up in a fantastically beautiful castle-like orphanage there from 6 until 16 when her guardian brother required her to go to nova scotia to join his family. thankfully as it turned out as she eventually moved to british columbia and met my grampa! but it’s always been a place i’d love to visit with all it’s and my family’s history. thanks for the opportunity and have a great day

It’s not a city but a province in South Africa – Mpumalanga. I went last year and it stole my heart away. I’m going again in less than two months and I am counting the days. And Cape Town is super duper fab too!!!
I have not been very far in this world, so my choices are limited. I do not like the big cities and live just east of Vancouver, BC in Abbotsford, but a town a bit further east is HOPE, BC. It is on the edge of wild but yet is quite civillized and has most of what anyone might need without the big box stores to spoil the scenery…
I have to say Paris, even if it is a cliche!
I loved when we were in Santa Barbara on my honeymoon, but it was my honeymoon, so of course it was fantastic! I would love to visit any town in New Zealand!
Favourite City is hard – I am not really a city girl… I find the traffic and the frantic pace too overwhelming I can only ever stay in the city for a couple of days before I have to get out and get back to a more natural pace.
I do enjoy the cultural aspect of Melbourne and the historic, architectural and natural beauty of Sydney. I dream of one day visiting London & Paris and New York – I am sure I will love parts of them too for a few days but then I am sure I will be longing for stillness and calm.

Well, I live in a small town, but my favorite big city that I’ve been to is either Atlanta or Chattanooga. I know I’m a weirdo, but Chattanooga is just very family friendly and for some reason I find it really easy to get around downtown and since my town doesn’t even have a downtown, that’s a big deal!
