I’m still here! I’m slowly starting to feel better. My do-to list is a mile long so hopefully I will be able to start crossing stuff off the list soon. I do have a couple projects ready to share!

I finished a sleeve for my laptop. I just used a single layer of cotton batting and I think I might rather have two, but it turned out so cute and I really love it. (Yes, I am hoarding about 3 yards of Sandi Henderson’s Apple Dot fabric…) This would work really well with the iPad too. I used one of my new zipper tricks and it worked out great.

I have been like 99% finished with the Sammy Bag pattern for months now. I’ve had a really hard time taking the cover photos due to a combination of lack of sunlight, the bright pink color and a dog that never stops moving. I got a few good ones so I think it’s about ready. Thank goodness we are starting to get more sun! A sling was the first thing I made for Sam about 4 years ago. (My baby girl is going to be FIVE in April!) I went through thousands of old photos to find a pic of it.

Wow. I had NO IDEA what I was doing.
This was the first one I made in this style, like a year ago. It’s denim with a sweatshirt lining. Not too bad!

Since then I’ve made 2 or 3 more to tweak the pattern. The Carnival Bloom is from Above All Fabric. I love the corduroy! I also made one in this denim.

I finally got the last pieces of fabric to fill out Loki’s quilt. I haven’t made this yet because the pattern I want to use has squares that are too small to feature the monsters. I will either modify the pattern or come up with something completely different. Maybe a simple four-patch square alternating with a large square for the monsters? I think the blue flannel will be the backing and the stripes will be the binding. I’ll take any suggestions! At this point it just needs to get made since I’ve had these monsters for about 2 years now. There is probably enough fabric to make more than one quilt.
Next up will be the pattern for these notepads and then maybe the MBA/iPad sleeves and I also really need to make myself a camera bag!
